The Wallace Event Center is located at 807 Wallace Ave in Wilkinsburg.  This venue will be the perfect fit for all of your event needs.  Our 6,000 square foot ballroom is 2-stories high and can accommodate up to 450 guests.  With our ceiling mounted speakers you are sure to captivate your audience and be heard clearly throughout the center.  Our two side mounted speakers and retractable projections screen gives you the flexibility to set up for a smaller venue or visual presentation.

 

Seating Arrangements

No matter what type of event you are planning, we can accommodate you and your guests.  We have pre-planned seating floor plans for just about any size and style venue or you can design your own custom arrangement to fit your specific needs.  Some of our standard arrangements include:

  • Theater Style - seating for up to 450 guests
  • Dance Floor Style - includes space for dancing and leaves room to seat 200 guests
  • Conference Style - seats 224 attendees

We provide 6 foot long rectangular tables for your catering needs and 60 inch round dining tables, big enough to comfortably seat 6-8 people.

Any income from this event that exceeds Hosanna House’s cost will be used to support and benefit Hosanna House’s Charitable Mission.

 

Rental payments can only be received if a valid contract has been agreed upon, signed, and is in force.  To make a payment toward your contracted rental space, please go to our payments page.

 

Other Rental Spaces

In addition to the Banquet Hall, the Wallace Event Center offers a variety of other rental spaces from small and large conference rooms to a gymnasium and an indoor swimming pool.  For current rates for these spaces, please contact us by phone or email using the information below.

Directions and Parking

Hosanna House has a parking lot adjacent to the building.  There are also (2) metered lots across from Wilkinsburg High School in the next block.  Metered lots are free on weekends!  We suggest that you do not park on the street as there are posted signs for residential permit parking only as well as restrictions for street cleaning from April - November

Additional Information

  • You can use any caterer you wish or our we can recommend one.  We ask that your caterer be licensed and insured
  • Beer, champagne, wine, and wine coolers are permitted.  We ask that you do not serve liquor or any other type of alcohol
  • Linens, tableware and extra décor can be provided by you or your caterer.  We can recommend a rental company if you need to secure additional items
