Dek Hockey 2014 Season

Hosanna House Dek Hockey rink is available for use by youth leagues, schools, and other youth-focused organizations.  We anticipate running dek hockey concurrently with Hosanna House's existing programs and event schedules, black out times reserved.  Rental fees are assessed for league play and groups interested in renting the facility to cover our overhead costs and maintenance for the dek hockey rink.

The availablility of the rink is limited to daylight hours until appropriate lighting is secured and installed to allow for night play.  Rink usage will be restricted to days/times outside of Hosanna House's rental schedule for the Sherwood Event Center.  Hours of operation will vary; specifically the ending times during the Spring and Fall seasons during Daylight Saving Time.

Stick Time

The following is the 2014 Hosanna House Dek Hockey Schedule.  All dates/times are subject to change.

Dek Hockey - Open Stick Time

Stick time is an opportunity for youth in the community to be introduced to organized team hockey. There is no prior skill needed, as most of the learning that takes place will come by doing. Though there are no organized drills, children will learn from each other as they would learn in any other casual "pick-up" sport.

Open stick time is free and open to the public on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings starting September 9th thru November.  Registration is required.  To register, please print and fill out the following forms.  All forms are required to be completed in their entirety in order for the child to be able to participate.  Bring all completed forms with you to the rink.
